Terms of Service

1. Publisher and scope

The publisher is Mohamed Sobhy Mahmoud Ibrahim, an individual / sole trader operating as MEP Estimate-X in Egypt. No incorporated company, company registration number or tax status is asserted.

Product, privacy and complaint contact: support@mepestimatex.com. Paddle handles billing support for orders processed by Paddle. A website registration for launch news is separate from a desktop software account or licence.

2. Licence and account

Subject to the applicable trial or paid entitlement, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the software for your own lawful estimation and commercial work. Ownership of the software and original artwork is not transferred. Third-party components retain their respective licences.

Provide accurate account details, keep access credentials private and use only devices you are authorized to use. A paid subscription permits up to two authorized devices for the same account; it does not sell two separate subscriptions or two copies of an allowance. Account sharing, resale and bypassing security or usage controls are prohibited, except where mandatory law permits an otherwise restricted activity.

3. Trial, allowances and Quick Drop

The free trial provides four shared processing runs without a card or credit code and does not automatically renew into a paid plan. Quick Drop is locked throughout trial.

The USD 4.99 monthly subscription includes 40 processing runs per billing period. Quick Drop requires an active paid subscription and positive applicable allowance. USD 1.99 buys ten additional runs once and requires an active paid subscription to buy and use them. All productive processing is locked at allowance exhaustion. See Pricing for the offer.

One successfully completed processing workflow consumes one run from the allowance shared across authorized devices and workflows. Delivering its already-authorized output does not incur a second run charge; failed or cancelled operations do not count as successful runs. At exhaustion, new productive actions are locked, while delivery already authorized for the last run can finish under its existing authorization. Duplicate requests must not duplicate entitlement. Report a disputed deduction with the operation time and non-sensitive error reference.

4. Orders and recurring payments

When enabled, orders are sold by Paddle as reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle provides payment support and handles refunds. Its Buyer Terms govern the transaction; these terms govern product use.

A monthly subscription renews at the price disclosed before purchase until cancelled. The checkout must show the final payable amount, applicable taxes and billing interval. The ten-run add-on is a separate one-time charge. No purchase is authorized by a trial, a marketing form or viewing this page.

At launch, subscriptions and additional-run purchases start inside the Windows application, followed by secure Paddle browser checkout on an approved domain. No payments are currently collected; Paddle approval and integration verification are still required. Subscription management is available from the app and official Paddle links once enabled.

5. Cancellation and payment problems

Cancel through the management link in your Paddle receipt or Paddle buyer support. Cancellation normally stops future renewals at the end of the paid billing period. See the Refund Policy for refund requests and mandatory rights.

If payment fails, expires or is reversed, paid online functionality may be restricted according to the verified billing status. An add-on alone does not extend the subscription. No hourly manual activation is part of the offer. Keep your own project backups before making account or subscription changes.

6. Files, processing and professional responsibility

You keep rights to your input files and your own work. You must have authority to process uploaded material, supplier information and personal data. You grant only the permission needed to process your requests and provide support you ask for.

Selected BOQ descriptions and relevant engineering context may be sent to online processing services. This is not an exclusively offline product. Review the Privacy Policy before submitting confidential material.

You remain responsible for quantities, units, rates, formulas, classifications, project requirements and exported results. Automated and assistant output can be incomplete or wrong. The software is an aid, not a certification, professional engineering engagement or guarantee of tender accuracy.

7. Website features and communications

This website is the software product, pricing, policy, support and release-status portal. The former public market references, supplier directory, calculation tools, Ask assistant, early-registration and Special Requests forms have been retired. The website does not operate a marketplace for independent sellers. Previously collected records remain subject to their stated purposes and the rights described in the Privacy Policy.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card secrets, private device keys or unnecessary sensitive personal information through project files or support.

8. Availability, updates and security

Some functions require internet access, a supported Windows installation and current authentication and device authorization. Scheduled maintenance, provider outages and security incidents can interrupt online functions. No uninterrupted-service or fixed response-time guarantee is made.

Updates may address defects, compatibility or security. We must not remove mandatory remedies or make a material paid-service reduction without the notice and choices required by law. Access may be suspended where reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, nonpayment or a security threat; contact support if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

9. Remedies and liability

Nothing excludes mandatory consumer guarantees, lawful withdrawal or refund rights, or liability that cannot legally be limited. For service defects, first contact support so the problem can be investigated and any legally required remedy arranged.

Subject to mandatory law, the product does not promise a particular tender result, profit or fitness for every project. No arbitrary financial liability cap, compulsory arbitration agreement or waiver of statutory rights is imposed by these Terms.

10. Complaints, changes and applicable law

Send product complaints to the support address above and billing complaints to Paddle. Include an order reference where relevant and a description of the problem; do not send card security codes, passwords or private device keys.

The publisher is based in Egypt. Applicable mandatory consumer law, including protections and courts available where you live, remains unaffected. These terms do not replace Paddle's separate transaction terms.

These Terms are updated 26 October 2026. Material changes will be communicated as required before they affect an existing agreement. English and Arabic versions are intended to describe the same offer; report a difference to support, and no translation rule overrides mandatory rights.
